HEARTS FOR SCHOOLS – The Faith Community Action Team

Tarrant Area Community of Churches partners with the Fort Worth ISD, Tarrant NET, Faith Outreach of Tarrant County College, and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce to host events that help encourage students to stay in school and prevail to graduation.
The Faith Community Action Team meets the 2nd Monday of every month at 11AM at Panera Bread on University. We are now planning our next event to continue to build incentives to help kids stay in school to graduation. If you would like to get involved, contact Melinda Veatch at 817-737-5554 or click here to provide your contact information so we can connect with you.

Dream Ahead: Gathering Hope
On Saturday, March 12, thirty-five 5th graders from 7 Fort Worth ISD Schools took a day trip to the Dallas International Aquarium. Each child had made significant improvements in their grades, attendance, and/or classroom behavior. This trip recognized and reinforced the efforts of the students and at our honor lunch, we had a program that encouraged them to keep up the good work!
